Fight your way out of a heavily guarded prison in this fast-paced roguelite shooter.
Armed with whatever weapon you can get your hands on, you'll push through room after room filled with enemies, surviving intense firefights while searching for a way to escape. Clear a room, move forward, and keep going until something stronger stands in your way.
Every run is different. Along the way you'll discover temporary upgrades, powerful weapons, and unexpected boosts that can completely change how you play. More health, faster movement, extra ammo, unique weapon modifiers, and much more can appear during your escape.

The Prison Hub
Death isn't the end.
When a run fails, you're sent back to your prison cell, where fellow inmates can help prepare you for the next escape attempt. Visit weapon dealers, unlock upgrades, and customize your character before heading back into the fight.
Current State
Break Out is currently a prototype, but it is fully playable. The core gameplay, combat systems, progression, weapons, and boss encounter are already implemented and polished. This release represents the foundation of the project and showcases its main mechanics.
